Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 0) Brackley's Will Worrall started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bryan Higginson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Locking read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Callum Goodall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Locking. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Bryan Higginson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Locking. Bryan Higginson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Will Worrall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Duggan having to interfere. Crooksville FC's Callum Goodall got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Brackley's zone, Bryan Higginson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Locking came out of the goal and Bryan Higginson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryan Higginson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Callum Goodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Locking saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Atkins's late challenge caught a Crooksville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Atkins helped the player get up and apologised. Crooksville FC's Callum Goodall got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Callum Goodall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bryan Higginson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Crooksville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Higginson couldn't finish the play. When Crooksville FC's Bryan Higginson in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brackley's goalie prevented a goal. Karl Locking took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Callum Goodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Locking saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Brackley's goal looked a bit too open when Connor Cardwell came free, but Karl Locking reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Callum Goodall came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Crooksville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Callum Goodall couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Callum Goodall in the 70th minute of play forced Brackley's goalkeeper Karl Locking to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Callum Goodall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Higginson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Crooksville FC's Bryan Higginson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Locking was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84thth minute of the game Bryan Higginson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brackley's Karl Locking was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brackley's Karl Locking played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Higginson in the 88th minute of play. Crooksville FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
