Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brynn Marsden took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kikhavn FC's zone, Will Watkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Eyre came out of the goal and Will Watkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute of the match Sammy Linkletter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Eyre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brynn Marsden in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Kidd saved Danbury from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Danbury's zone, Colin Mann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Kidd came out of the goal and Colin Mann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colin Mann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Kidd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colin Mann in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Kikhavn FC's Ashley Platt got a free kick in the 27th minute. Will Watkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Max Eyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austen Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Max Eyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Will Watkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Eyre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Kikhavn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Will Watkins came free, but Max Eyre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Watkins in the 38th minute of play forced Kikhavn FC's goalkeeper Max Eyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Eyre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Watkins's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Kikhavn FC's Max Eyre got control of the ball when Austen Bryant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cliff Coates kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Max Eyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Watkins in the 57th minute of play. Colin Mann struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Richard Kidd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kikhavn FC. Brett Amos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Kikhavn FC's Benji Deveraux shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Kidd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kikhavn FC reached it. Austen Bryants short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Max Eyre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Will Watkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Eyre having to interfere. If Austen Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Will Watkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Kidd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Mann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Will Watkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Eyre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Will Watkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Eyre having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
