Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Will Watkins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Austen Bryant got free with Pierre Delaney in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Danbury booed when South Woodford United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Kitching didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Picker in the 14th minute of play forced Danbury's goalkeeper Richard Kidd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Picker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Richard Kidd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Bailey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Kidd having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Marc Picker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Kidd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Stew Locking took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Kidd. Danbury's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Danbury getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Calum Endean hit a great ball. Austen Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Watkins in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Marc Picker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Woodford United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sammy Bailey made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Sammy Bailey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Kidd. The goal made the score 0-2. Sammy Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Kidd having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Will Watkins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pierre Delaney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Kidd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Bailey in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Marc Picker fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mickey Hunter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Picker got free with Richard Kidd in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Danbury's Austen Bryant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierre Delaney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to South Woodford United getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Austin Avery hit a great ball. Richard Kidd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Bailey in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Sammy Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Woodford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sammy Bailey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Danbury's goalkeeper Richard Kidd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Picker. 94 minutes into the game, Mickey Hunter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Woodford United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Danbury the free kick. Pierre Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austen Bryant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. South Woodford United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
