Huey Hamilton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alnwick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Boothroyd to make the kick off. Damion Foggarty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Huey Hamilton made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Swaffham City's zone, Damion Foggarty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huey Hamilton came out of the goal and Damion Foggarty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damion Foggarty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huey Hamilton having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Swaffham City's Kasey Grantham got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Boothroyd in the 64th minute of play forced Swaffham City's goalkeeper Huey Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Buckle hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mark Henman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Naisbitt having to interfere. Damion Foggarty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Huey Hamilton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Thomas Boothroyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huey Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Boothroyd in the 94th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Thomas Boothroyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Huey Hamilton was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
