Rueben Hunter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Superhumans's Edward Ashton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Paul Scorfield in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute John-Paul Scorfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Superhumans defense, Ruben Blacknell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Ashton. The Superhumans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Ashton should have stopped the shot. Rufus Mason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Edward Ashton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sean Wilkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edward Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Alastair Branston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Camberley's Rufus Mason made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Ashton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grant Fordham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Superhumans's goalkeeper Edward Ashton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Blacknell. After a rather tough play, Superhumans's Leroy Atkinson got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryan Rutherford made a kick off. In the 57th minute Ruben Blacknell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John-Paul Scorfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edward Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Superhumans's goal looked a bit too open when Alastair Branston came free, but Edward Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daryl Bean hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Edward Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Scorfield in the 65th minute of play. Ruben Blacknell took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Ashton. Edward Ashton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Grant Fordham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Ashton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Paul Scorfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Camberley's Rufus Mason sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Ashton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Paul Scorfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
