The audience was convinced that Sean Hackney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Gough was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Sean Hackney managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of INVASION booed when Ironville City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Devaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. INVASION's Pat Willoughby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Logan in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Sean Hackney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darius Logan to make the kick off. Robert Gough made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gez Adams in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Hackney in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Gough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ironville City's Robert Gough got control of the ball when Gez Adams tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Hackney in the 66th minute of play forced Ironville City's goalkeeper Robert Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loyd Lowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gez Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Robert Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Gez Adams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Darius Logan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pat Willoughby was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Gez Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
