Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leroy Eagles took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ruben Haines took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Craig Pitts. Craig Pitts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Belton United's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Eagles came free, but Craig Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruben Haines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Craig Pitts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Eagles in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Cliff Homes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Joel Beasley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Joel Beasley made the kick off in the second half. Belton United's Craig Pitts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Eagles in the 52nd minute of play. Leroy Eagles scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Craig Pitts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Craig Pitts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Haines, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Ruben Haines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leroy Eagles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Seb Walmsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Leroy Eagles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Pitts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byfleet Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leroy Eagles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
