Joey Senior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Basham, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sol Simms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Hayward in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ebley City's Alex Goodwick got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dean Basham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Senior having to interfere. Dean Basham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Joey Senior skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jerry Hayward scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sol Simms, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Alex Goodwick got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 80 played minutes, Ebley City's Tyler McNiven shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joey Senior came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ebley City reached it. Joey Senior didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Basham went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
