Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Callington's Glyn Louis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Pizzle Youth Team's goal looked a bit too open when Glyn Louis came free, but Dom Dawes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Kris Teague managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callington's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Teague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dom Dawes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pizzle Youth Team's Dom Dawes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Pizzle Youth Team from getting a goal against them. Kieran Rusby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Foster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dom Dawes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glyn Louis in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Callington booed when Pizzle Youth Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Crowell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeff Perryman's shot from long distance in the 22nd minute was not bad at all, but Pizzle Youth Team's Dom Dawes knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Archie Crowell kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dale Broom hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keiran Barnfield in the 25th minute of play forced Callington's goalkeeper Kieran Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glyn Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dom Dawes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Neville in the 30th minute of play forced Pizzle Youth Team's goalkeeper Dom Dawes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glyn Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Teague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dom Dawes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glyn Louis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dom Dawes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Kris Teague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Dawes having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keiran Barnfield to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Foster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kieran Rusby having to make a save. When Sebastian Neville fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Callington's protests and gave Sebastian Neville a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Neville hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Callington defense, Daniel Foster kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kieran Rusby. The Callington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kieran Rusby should have stopped the shot. Kris Teague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dom Dawes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pizzle Youth Team's Dom Dawes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glyn Louis in the 69th minute of play. Dom Dawes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glyn Louis in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, one of Callington:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute, Pizzle Youth Team got a penalty, and Matt Walters placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 79th minute, Kris Teague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Glyn Louis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th minute Kris Teague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Dawes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Glyn Louis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kris Teague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
