The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cantelowes FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Waite in the 15th minute of play forced Cantelowes FC's goalkeeper Cirino Montaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Walthamstow City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keiran Pitman to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Walthamstow City got a freekick which was hit by Keiran Pitman. Cirino Montaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iain Milton, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugh Phippard in the 25th minute of play forced Cantelowes FC's goalkeeper Cirino Montaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dan Waite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Cantelowes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugh Phippard came free, but Cirino Montaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirino Montaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iain Milton in the 32nd minute of the match. Jonny Dudgeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Folan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grozdan Genkovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Walthamstow City's Keiran Pitman got a free kick in the 39th minute. Keiran Pitman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirino Montaña having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugh Phippard to make the kick off. Iain Milton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Cirino Montaña made a huge save. Grozdan Genkovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dale Folan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Cantelowes FC's Grozdan Genkovski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dale Folan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Hugh Phippard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirino Montaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hugh Phippard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Walthamstow City. Louie Basterfield stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cirino Montaña. 2-2. 95 minutes into the game, Keiran Pitman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cirino Montaña. Keiran Pitman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Cantelowes FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Walthamstow City had controlled the match.
