Guy Malpeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glyn Conway. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guy Malpeli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute, Damon Hart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, GKS TYCHY's goalkeeper Carl Griffiths had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damon Hart. Carl Griffiths made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Bartlett in the 10th minute of play. When Eddie Norton fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawkstone United's protests and gave Eddie Norton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Eddie Norton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Stuart Bartlett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS TYCHY's Carl Griffiths was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damon Hart's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Carl Griffiths skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 27 played minutes GKS TYCHY got a freekick which was hit by Glen Bullock. Carl Griffiths made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Bartlett in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Damon Hart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawkstone United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damon Hart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Griffiths made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Damon Hart sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, GKS TYCHY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Wright to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Stuart Bartlett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hawkstone United's supporters rose to their feet, but Stuart Bartlett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Griffiths breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damon Hart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Carl Griffiths made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Hawkstone United's zone, Guy Malpeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glyn Conway came out of the goal and Guy Malpeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Griffiths took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Bartlett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damon Harts short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Carl Griffiths to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carl Griffiths made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Damon Hart sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stuart Bartlett to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in GKS TYCHY's zone, Stuart Bartlett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Griffiths came out of the goal and Stuart Bartlett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stuart Bartlett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carl Griffiths tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, GKS TYCHY's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Bartlett came free, but Carl Griffiths reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Griffiths made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Hart in the 61st minute of play. Eddie Norton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, GKS TYCHY's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Bartlett came free, but Carl Griffiths reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Hawkstone United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasey Meadowcroft to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, GKS TYCHY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Chipperfield to maneuver through the defense. Stuart Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GKS TYCHY's Carl Griffiths played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Bartlett in the 79th minute of play. Carl Griffiths showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Hart, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Hawkstone United's Stuart Bartlett got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Norton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, GKS TYCHY's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Bartlett came free, but Carl Griffiths reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Griffiths made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Bartlett in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Kasey Meadowcroft managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawkstone United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasey Meadowcroft was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hawkstone United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
