With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andre Renton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, A.C green lions's Zackary Dobby got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes A.C green lions got a freekick which was hit by Marek Homes. William Kerfoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Carroll in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Cringleford FC booed when A.C green lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Homes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cringleford FC's Jeremy Macken got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Kyle Jobson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cringleford FC's Andre Renton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Kerfoot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miles Carroll showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Hugh Elwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Kerfoot having to interfere. William Kerfoot was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Miles Carroll capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miles Carroll really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Bland got free with William Kerfoot in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Kerfoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Bland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Bland in the 45th minute of play forced A.C green lions's goalkeeper William Kerfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Kerfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miles Carroll, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. A.C green lions's William Kerfoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brynn Jewson in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Russell Lynam made a kick off. William Kerfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miles Carroll, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Kyle Jobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.C green lions booed when Cringleford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Plumber didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miles Carroll in the 70th minute of play forced A.C green lions's goalkeeper William Kerfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugh Elwick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Hugh Elwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Russell Lynam couldn't finish the play. A.C green lions's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
