Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joshua Bean took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kev Watkins in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ashley Parkin saved Pinebrook AFC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Pinebrook AFC's Sammy Pack sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathanial Higgins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kev Watkins in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashley Parkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pinebrook AFC's Ashley Parkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Pinebrook AFC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the game, Matt Philips cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ashley Parkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kev Watkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Syd Logan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinebrook AFC's protests and gave Syd Logan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pinebrook AFC's Syd Logan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Kev Watkins struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ashley Parkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bletchingley. If Kev Watkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matt Philips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ashley Parkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Kev Watkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinebrook AFC's Ashley Parkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nathanial Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Syd Logan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Ashley Parkin made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Matt Philips sent off a good shot on target. Matt Philips had several of the Pinebrook AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ashley Parkin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kev Watkins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joshua Bean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Higgins having to interfere. Kev Watkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ashley Parkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garry Downs went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ashley Parkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Philips, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Pinebrook AFC booed when Bletchingley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis Collingwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Nathanial Higgins managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Pinebrook AFC's Sammy Pack fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Garry Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ashley Parkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kev Watkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes, Garry Downs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bletchingley and the Pinebrook AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bletchingley getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Garry Downs hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Jermaine Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kev Watkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ashley Parkin having to make a save. After having played for 82 minutes, Matt Philips managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bletchingley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Philips was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kev Watkins in the 90th minute of play forced Pinebrook AFC's goalkeeper Ashley Parkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Verne Robson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pinebrook AFC's Ashley Parkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kev Watkins in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, Pinebrook AFC's Glenn Bennett got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nathanial Higgins. Bletchingley walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
