Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kev Watkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beinn Pullen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Matt Philips might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beinn Pullen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matt Philips ran back to his position shaking his head. Kev Watkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Matt Philips left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bletchingley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Beinn Pullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Watkins in the 21st minute of play. If Charlie Upson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Garry Downs kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Quentin Hulbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Higgins having to interfere. Kev Watkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Beinn Pullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Eric Keyworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quentin Hulbert kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute Kev Watkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beinn Pullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kev Watkins was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Bletchingley's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Beinn Pullen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matt Philips in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quentin Hulbert made a kick off. Charlie Upson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matt Philips struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Beinn Pullen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bletchingley. In the 65th minute Matt Philips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beinn Pullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kev Watkins in the 66th minute of play forced Sieroty bez krzty cnoty's goalkeeper Beinn Pullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sieroty bez krzty cnoty's Beinn Pullen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kev Watkins in the 72nd minute of play. Kev Watkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beinn Pullen having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Sieroty bez krzty cnoty's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Philips came free, but Beinn Pullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beinn Pullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kev Watkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bletchingley's Matt Philips got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Will Ashby's late challenge caught a Bletchingley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Will Ashby helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute of the match Kristian Bentley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beinn Pullen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Kev Watkins came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bletchingley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kev Watkins couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Bletchingley were the better team. Bletchingley's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
