Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miles Carroll started the match with the kick off. Twickenham's Zack Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Twickenham from getting a goal against them. Craig McRobbie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Andre Renton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy Macken charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremy Macken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremy Macken kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Twickenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ged Birchall to maneuver through the defense. Hugh Elwick struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Zack Kennedy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cringleford FC. In the 30th play minute Hugh Elwick came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zack Kennedy. 2-0. Craig McRobbie struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Andre Renton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Twickenham. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Cringleford FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Twickenham:s goal. Tommy Tucker took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andre Renton. Andre Renton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Hugh Elwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 45 in the game by Hugh Elwick from a close distance when the talented Zack Kennedy managed to make a qualified save. Twickenham's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Craig McRobbie made the kick off in the second half. When Freddy Dunn fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cringleford FC's protests and gave Freddy Dunn a yellow card for diving instead. Jonny Bland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zack Kennedy having to make a save. If Miles Carroll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute Craig McRobbie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Renton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugh Elwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugh Elwick in the 76th minute of play forced Twickenham's goalkeeper Zack Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cringleford FC's Andre Renton got control of the ball when Damien Sheridan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shane Spann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Craig McRobbie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jude Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Craig McRobbie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Andre Renton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Twickenham's zone, Hugh Elwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zack Kennedy came out of the goal and Hugh Elwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
