Spectators: 7381 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nial Wilmott took the kick off in the first half of the match. Casey Warrender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Shane Litchfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Seaham FC's Zack Spann got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Jonny Slator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Litchfield made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Casey Warrender sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 11 minutes, Casey Warrender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ratpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casey Warrender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casey Warrender recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Fitz Banks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Litchfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ratpool FC booed when Seaham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Spann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seaham FC's Shane Litchfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fitz Banks in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Christopher Douglas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nial Wilmott in the 29th minute of play forced Ratpool FC's goalkeeper Ruben Hubbard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Douglas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hubbard having to interfere. Shane Litchfield was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fitz Banks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. With 46 minutes on the clock, Duncan Higgins commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Shane Litchfield, was totally fooled by Ratpool FC's Dominik Law, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fitz Banks made a kick off. Fitz Banks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Litchfield having to interfere. Les Falkingham's late challenge caught a Seaham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Les Falkingham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Les Falkingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Ratpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathon England to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Ratpool FC's goalkeeper Ruben Hubbard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Douglas. Ratpool FC's Les Falkingham got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Les Falkingham off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ratpool FC's Les Falkingham got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Rhys Cotton fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ratpool FC's protests and gave Rhys Cotton a yellow card for diving instead. Christopher Douglas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Casey Warrender's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shane Litchfield was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ratpool FC's Ruben Hubbard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ratpool FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ratpool FC booed when Seaham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nial Wilmott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonny Slator charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Slator the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ratpool FC booed when Seaham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Slator didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Leeson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
