Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Syd Price kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Sutton Valence City booed when Slough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matty Izzard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slough's Ben Hilditch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syd Price in the 9th minute of play. Seb Lloyd's late challenge caught a Sutton Valence City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seb Lloyd helped the player get up and apologised. William Spink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matty Izzard in the 17th minute of play. If Basil Hamer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Basil Hamer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ben Hilditch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Syd Price struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ben Hilditch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sutton Valence City. Ben Hilditch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Burbeary in the 27th minute of the match. Stan Burbeary kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Walter Jewson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Slough's goal looked a bit too open when Syd Price came free, but Ben Hilditch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matty Izzard made a kick off. The supporters of Slough booed when Sutton Valence City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Syd Price didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syd Price in the 56th minute of play forced Slough's goalkeeper Ben Hilditch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sutton Valence City's Syd Price got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ben Hilditch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Price, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Syd Price came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Sutton Valence City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Syd Price couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Slough's goal looked a bit too open when Syd Price came free, but Ben Hilditch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton Valence City's zone, Matty Izzard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Spink came out of the goal and Matty Izzard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Slough's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Basil Hamer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ben Hilditch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Price, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes, Walter Jewson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slough and the Sutton Valence City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Slough:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sutton Valence City:s goal. A hard shot 81 in the game by Basil Hamer from a close distance when the talented Ben Hilditch managed to make a qualified save. Slough's players were relieved. Basil Hamer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ben Hilditch made a huge save. Syd Price received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ben Hilditch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Matty Izzard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matty Izzard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Slough booed when Sutton Valence City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Burbeary didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sutton Valence City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
