Harvey Ainge charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harvey Ainge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Harvey Ainge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Frome City's Bryan Clayton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cody Shuttleworth. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan Clayton in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cody Shuttleworth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alastair Mahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, 442oons fc's Cody Shuttleworth got control of the ball when Alastair Mahon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bryan Clayton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cody Shuttleworth came out and tried to block the shot, but Bryan Clayton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute.

Cody Shuttleworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Clayton in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Bryan Clayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Shuttleworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryan Clayton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 minutes, Bryan Clayton made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. 442oons fc's Cody Shuttleworth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Bryan Clayton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cody Shuttleworth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the game, Harvey Ainge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cody Shuttleworth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cody Shuttleworth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryan Clayton's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Alastair Mahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alastair Mahon struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cody Shuttleworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frome City. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Frome City.
