The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Hojen Rovers's Seth Duff got a free kick in the 39th minute. Bob Mason's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Bob Mason blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Moyse having to make a save. Samuel Moyse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Edwards in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Achilles FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hojen Rovers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
