The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Kris Brumfitt put in a rough tackle. 32 minutes into the game, one of 442oons fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute Nial Wilmott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Shuttleworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gary Ashford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cody Shuttleworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nial Wilmott in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Christopher Douglas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Shuttleworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, 442oons fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nial Wilmott came free, but Cody Shuttleworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lennie Probert made the kick off in the second half. Gary Ashford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christopher Douglas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Cody Shuttleworth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eddy Beadel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 58th playminute. Gary Ashford struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Shane Litchfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 442oons fc. Cody Shuttleworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nial Wilmott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 442oons fc's Cody Shuttleworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save 442oons fc from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seaham FC's goalkeeper Shane Litchfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Kyle Ellerker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 442oons fc and the Seaham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eddy Beadel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Cody Shuttleworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Wilmott, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Seaham FC defense, Gary Ashford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shane Litchfield. The Seaham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shane Litchfield should have stopped the shot. Cody Shuttleworth made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Christopher Douglas sent off a good shot on target. Shane Litchfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Housham in the 91st minute of play. Cody Shuttleworth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christopher Douglas in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nial Wilmott in the 96th minute of play forced 442oons fc's goalkeeper Cody Shuttleworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
