After having played for 21 minutes, Al Woodman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Al Woodman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tod Rush's late challenge caught a Stone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Stone got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Hutchins. 29 minutes into the match, Stone's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lampard came free, but Sean Drysdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddie Henman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luke Rockett's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Luke Rockett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Eddie Henman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Rockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luke Rockett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nial Reid was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 45 played minutes Stone got a freekick which was hit by Nial Reid. In the 46th match minute, Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Rockett to maneuver through the defense.

Jagiellonia's Eddie Henman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Rockett in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Stone's Al Woodman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddie Henman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Woodman in the 59th minute of play forced Jagiellonia's goalkeeper Eddie Henman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stone's Luke Rockett got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Al Woodman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eddie Henman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddie Henman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Hutchins, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Al Woodman struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Eddie Henman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stone. A collision led to Jagiellonia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Shawn Barnfield hit a great ball. Eddie Henman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Al Woodman sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 71 minutes, Al Woodman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Al Woodman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Al Woodman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Eddie Henman made a huge save. Eddie Henman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthew Hutchins went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Al Woodman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone's supporters rose to their feet, but Al Woodman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Henman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luke Rockett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Eddie Henman made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Luke Rockett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Henman. Jagiellonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Rockett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Matthew Hutchins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Al Woodman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle sounded Stone left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jagiellonia.
