Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luke Rockett took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Al Woodman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbie Laverick was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After 10 minutes of play, Stone's Luke Rockett made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robbie Laverick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damien Hendley hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Hutchins to maneuver through the defense. If Verne Wadham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Stone's goal looked a bit too open when Verne Wadham came free, but Sean Drysdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Bowler got free with Sean Drysdale in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Bowler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sean Drysdale made a huge save. After having played for 33 minutes, Julian Bowler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thame's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Bowler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Al Woodman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luke Rockett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Laverick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Rockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Verne Wadham made a kick off. If Luke Rockett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Luke Rockett lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Robbie Laverick. 62 minutes into the match, Thame's goalkeeper Robbie Laverick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Al Woodman. 72 minutes into the game, Verne Wadham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Sean Drysdale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luke Rockett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Laverick having to interfere. Dean Longley hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Luke Rockett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robbie Laverick came out and tried to block the shot, but Luke Rockett slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 79th minute. After 84 minutes, Luke Rockett made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Thame's Robbie Laverick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Luke Rockett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbie Laverick was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luke Rockett in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robbie Laverick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nial Reid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Laverick having to interfere. Stone's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
