Ted Burrows showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Bishop, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dylan Bonham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Osbourn in the 28th minute of the match. Wes Bishop succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Wes Bishop took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ted Burrows to make any attempt to save it. If Hugh Goodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugh Goodall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ted Burrows tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, St Arsene Fc's Ted Burrows got control of the ball when Hugh Goodall tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jake Whitford made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Radcliffe-on-Trent's goalkeeper Dylan Bonham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugh Goodall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Burrows having to interfere. After some careless play in the St Arsene Fc defense, Wes Bishop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Burrows. The St Arsene Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Burrows should have stopped the shot. Ted Burrows took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Goodall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match Matthew Shakespeare shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ted Burrows showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hugh Goodall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Radcliffe-on-Trent's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugh Goodall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Burrows breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, St Arsene Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennie Byrne to maneuver through the defense. Radcliffe-on-Trent's Hugh Goodall got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Radcliffe-on-Trent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gav Ward to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Radcliffe-on-Trent's Dylan Bonham got control of the ball when Wayne Osbourn tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Wes Bishop who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St Arsene Fc's Ted Burrows was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Radcliffe-on-Trent's zone, Jake Whitford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Bonham came out of the goal and Jake Whitford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Radcliffe-on-Trent fully deserved thier win.
