Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zackary Lamb kicked off to start the match. Brigade's Bob Sawyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Brigade from getting a goal against them. Long Crendon's Warren Barltrop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Lamb in the 3rd minute of play. Zackary Lamb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Barltrop having to interfere. Vern Hayes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Vern Ward struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Bob Sawyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Crendon. 22 minutes into the match, Brigade's goalkeeper Bob Sawyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vern Ward. Zackary Lamb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Long Crendon's Luke Mansfield seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luke Mansfield the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Long Crendon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luke Mansfield had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 26 minutes into the game, one of Long Crendon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Seth Oates shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 29 played minutes Long Crendon got a freekick which was hit by Jay Monk. After some careless play in the Brigade defense, Vern Ward kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Sawyer. The Brigade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Sawyer should have stopped the shot. Zackary Lamb scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Warren Barltrop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ted Beecham hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Zackary Lamb came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Brigade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zackary Lamb couldn't finish the play. If Ross William Russell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Vern Ward made the kick off in the second half. Warren Barltrop was a little too slow when Zackary Lamb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. Zackary Lamb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Barltrop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Zackary Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross William Russell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Barltrop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ross William Russell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Barltrop having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zackary Lamb in the 63rd minute of play forced Long Crendon's goalkeeper Warren Barltrop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Gerrard kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ross William Russell in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Warren Barltrop, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ross William Russell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Ross William Russell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute of the match, Zackary Lamb tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Warren Barltrop saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Long Crendon's Jay Monk got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brigade's zone, Vern Ward stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Sawyer came out of the goal and Vern Ward tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Long Crendon's Vern Ward got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Vern Ward ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Sawyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Zackary Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ross William Russell came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Brigade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ross William Russell couldn't finish the play. Ross William Russell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 96th playminute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brigade had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
