Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zackary Lamb took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman McBreen in the 4th minute of play forced Brigade's goalkeeper Bob Sawyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Ted Beecham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casey McNiven kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ted Beecham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Ashby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Dylon Maylett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hornsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brigade the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Hornsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylon Maylett to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross William Russell in the 14th minute of play forced Hornsea's goalkeeper Steven Ashby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Price hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ross William Russell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brigade's supporters rose to their feet, but Ross William Russell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Ashby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norman McBreen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Sawyer having to make a save. Hornsea's Steven Ashby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Lamb in the 30th minute of play. Ross William Russell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Ashby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Brigade's Zackary Lamb got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Norman McBreen made the kick off in the second half. Leigh Charlton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zackary Lamb, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Steven Ashby was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ross William Russell in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Steven Ashby, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute, Ross William Russell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norman McBreen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leigh Charlton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross William Russell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Steven Ashby when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ted Beecham kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Charlton in the 75th minute of play forced Brigade's goalkeeper Bob Sawyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zackary Lamb came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Brigade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zackary Lamb couldn't finish the play. With 83 minutes on the clock, Laurence Reid commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Steven Ashby had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Seth Oates's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bob Sawyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leigh Charlton in the 95th minute of the match. Leigh Charlton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bob Sawyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
