In the 6th match minute, AFC Chiron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Stobbs to maneuver through the defense. Tristram Lister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sam Beverley hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, FC ALBIN's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Lister came free, but Travis Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC ALBIN's Eric Smith got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Purvis in the 25th minute of play forced FC ALBIN's goalkeeper Travis Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes, AFC Chiron's Conan Beecham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Travis Ashton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Chiron reached it. If Christopher Purvis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristram Lister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Travis Ashton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Conan Beecham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Travis Ashton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christopher Purvis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Ashton having to interfere. Travis Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Purvis in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, FC ALBIN's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Purvis came free, but Travis Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristram Lister in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Travis Ashton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute of the match AFC Chiron got a corner. FC ALBIN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kyle Merris ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kyle Merris made a great header on AFC Chiron's corner, it was just that FC ALBIN's Travis Ashton managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Purvis in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Travis Ashton saved FC ALBIN from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tristram Lister to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC ALBIN booed when AFC Chiron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristram Lister didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC ALBIN's Travis Ashton got control of the ball when Christopher Purvis tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC ALBIN's Travis Ashton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save FC ALBIN from getting a goal against them. If Christopher Purvis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Tristram Lister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Travis Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Purvis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes FC ALBIN got a freekick which was hit by Eric Smith. Conan Beecham's late challenge caught a FC ALBIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conan Beecham helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AFC Chiron getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Conan Beecham hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFC Chiron eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
