Johnny Osbourn started the match with the kick off. Jon Dryden made in the 8th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stuart Chivers however managed to control. Travis Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Chivers in the 12th minute of the match. Travis Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Chivers in the 14th minute of play. If Jo Albright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Smith received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wesley Westerby came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Smith slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Eric Smith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of FC BankSHOle:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC ALBIN:s goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Jo Albright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ALBIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jo Albright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Eric Smith fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Albright in the 37th minute of play forced FC BankSHOle's goalkeeper Wesley Westerby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC ALBIN's Eric Smith managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jon Dryden in the 38 minute of the game. Eric Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Westerby having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC BankSHOle's zone, Eric Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Westerby came out of the goal and Eric Smith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Westerby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Albright, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jo Albright was the one to do the kick off. Jo Albright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eric Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ALBIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Smith was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Westerby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Osbourn, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, FC BankSHOle's Jon Dryden got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Eric Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Johnny Osbourn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BankSHOle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Osbourn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wesley Westerby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Albright in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the game Jon Dryden made a throw-in which Johnny Osbourn played forward. Stuart Chivers came free in the 91st minute and tried to tip the ball over Travis Ashton, but to the joy of FC ALBIN's supporters the ball went over. There was no doubt that FC ALBIN were the better team. FC ALBIN's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
