Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnny Osbourn started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shane Wicks in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Westerby saved FC BankSHOle from getting behind. Calvin Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Wesley Westerby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC BankSHOle's Wesley Westerby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Barrett in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Calvin Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heywood's supporters rose to their feet, but Calvin Barrett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Westerby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Osbourn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stuart Chivers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calvin Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Westerby having to interfere. FC BankSHOle's Wesley Westerby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Barrett in the 31st minute of play. Heywood's Calvin Barrett got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shane Wicks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calvin Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Shane Wicks struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Wesley Westerby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heywood. Calvin Barrett took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Westerby. Wesley Westerby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, FC BankSHOle's goalkeeper Wesley Westerby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Wicks. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Calvin Barrett took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Wesley Westerby to make any attempt to save it. When Shane Wicks came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Heywood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Wicks couldn't finish the play. Shane Wicks in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wesley Westerby, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wesley Westerby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wally Cross in the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Calvin Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 83rd minute, Heywood's Calvin Barrett dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 88 minutes into the game, Duncan Jenkinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BankSHOle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heywood the free kick. A collision led to FC BankSHOle getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Duncan Jenkinson hit a great ball. Calvin Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wesley Westerby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Wicks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Wesley Westerby made a huge save. Shane Wicks took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Westerby. Wesley Westerby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Heywood left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC BankSHOle.
