Spectators: 7581 (Terracing: 5686, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johnny Osbourn got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Jo Albright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Westerby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jo Albright came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC ALBIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jo Albright couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, Eric Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ALBIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wesley Westerby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Smith in the 9th minute of play. Eric Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC BankSHOle's William Oliver got a free kick in the 17th minute. FC ALBIN's Travis Ashton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Chivers in the 23rd minute of play. Stuart Chivers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Travis Ashton having to make a save. Stuart Chivers struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Travis Ashton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BankSHOle. Johnny Osbourn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Ashton having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johnny Osbourn during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wesley Westerby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 33 minutes, Eric Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ALBIN and the FC BankSHOle players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC ALBIN getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eric Smith hit a great ball. Dane Norton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Travis Ashton. FC ALBIN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute, Jo Albright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stuart Chivers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BankSHOle's goalkeeper Wesley Westerby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jon Dryden hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The FC BankSHOle players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC ALBIN were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jo Albright made a kick off. Jo Albright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Westerby having to make a save. Eric Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jo Albright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes FC BankSHOle got a freekick which was hit by Jon Dryden. Johnny Osbourn hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Jo Albright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Westerby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Jo Albright tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wesley Westerby saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johnny Osbourn kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jo Albright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wesley Westerby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC BankSHOle's zone, Eric Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Westerby came out of the goal and Eric Smith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sid Walton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Eric Smith took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Wesley Westerby to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jo Albright in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Westerby saved FC BankSHOle from getting behind. Eric Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Westerby having to interfere. When the match was over FC ALBIN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC BankSHOle throughout the match.
