Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) FC Slovan Liberec's Tristan Styles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sheerness United's David Carpenter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Styles in the 4th minute of play. After 7 played minutes FC Slovan Liberec got a freekick which was hit by Des Thomson. Sheerness United's Niall Kelly got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Roger Liddle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristan Styles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 24thth minute of the game Tristan Styles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sheerness United's David Carpenter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niall Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Damian Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Des Thomson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Slovan Liberec's zone, Roger Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Robinson came out of the goal and Roger Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Des Thomson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Niall Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niall Kelly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Hamilton to make the kick off. Niall Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Damian Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Slovan Liberec's Zack Hirst got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Roger Liddle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sheerness United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Slovan Liberec the free kick. The supporters of FC Slovan Liberec booed when Sheerness United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Liddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Des Thomson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tristan Styles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Niall Kelly fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sheerness United's protests and gave Niall Kelly a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Slovan Liberec booed when Sheerness United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niall Kelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Des Thomson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. David Carpenter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Carpenter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristan Styles, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Des Thomson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Tristan Styles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Carpenter. Sheerness United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristan Styles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Tristan Styles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Carpenter was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Des Thomson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Slovan Liberec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Slovan Liberec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sheerness United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
