Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roger Hamilton took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Roger Hamilton fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sheerness United's protests and gave Roger Hamilton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Sheerness United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. If Brandon Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Carpenter made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Tom Strongman sent off a good shot on target. Carterton AFC's Brandon Hudson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Carpenter was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Brandon Hudson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brandon Hudson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Brandon Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. David Carpenter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Tom Strongman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. David Carpenter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tom Strongman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. David Carpenter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandon Hudson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Carpenter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness United's zone, Brandon Hudson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Carpenter came out of the goal and Brandon Hudson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brandon Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Brandon Hudson rounded Sheerness United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brandon Hudson made a kick off. Brandon Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness United's zone, Tom Strongman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Carpenter came out of the goal and Tom Strongman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Brandon Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carterton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brandon Hudson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Carpenter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Carterton AFC booed when Sheerness United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sheerness United's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Hudson came free, but David Carpenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Hudson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sheerness United's goalkeeper David Carpenter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Carpenter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Hudson in the 76th minute of play. David Carpenter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sheerness United's David Carpenter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Strongman in the 82nd minute of play. Tom Strongman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Strongman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, Carterton AFC's Brandon Hudson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Carpenter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute, Brandon Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
