Dale Foster missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the David Carpenter right hand side. The Sheerness United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vitorino FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Roger Hamilton made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Morley during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vitorino FC's Anthony Morley got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 60th match minute, Vitorino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Foster to maneuver through the defense. Niall Kelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitorino FC's Jasper Carragher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Carpenter. That made the score 0-2 after 65 minutes of play. If Jasper Carragher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anthony Morley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sheerness United's Roger Hamilton got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Anthony Morley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garth Courtney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niall Kelly in the 88th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Vitorino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Hamilton came free, but Garth Courtney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitorino FC played a much better game than Sheerness United and deserved their victory. The Sheerness United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
