After 21 played minutes French Toast Mafia got a freekick which was hit by Robin Moss. Michael Deveraux, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the French Toast Mafia defense, Kristopher Blackwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andre Berry. The French Toast Mafia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andre Berry should have stopped the shot. Owen Hallam struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Andre Berry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northallerton. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristopher Blackwood was the one to do the kick off. Kristopher Blackwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andre Berry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristopher Blackwood ran back to his position shaking his head.
