Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Owen Hallam came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Northallerton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Owen Hallam couldn't finish the play. Kristopher Blackwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matty Dixon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Owen Hallam's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 15 played minutes Northallerton got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Vine. Jamal Grantham was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Matty Dixon came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Northallerton's Kristopher Blackwood. But to his dismay, Kristopher Blackwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Tom Strongman could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Roy Connell however easily saved by the left post. Matty Dixon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Blackwood in the 26th minute of the match. Carterton AFC's Matty Dixon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Wagstaff in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Kristopher Blackwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northallerton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Blackwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Will Wagstaff hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Roy Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Hudson in the 34th minute of play. Owen Hallam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Matty Dixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Carterton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tom Francis. When Carterton AFC's Brandon Hudson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Northallerton's goalie prevented a goal. Matty Dixon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Owen Hallam went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brandon Hudson was the one to do the kick off. Roy Connell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Strongman in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristopher Blackwood in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matty Dixon saved Carterton AFC from getting behind. Reuben Moorhouse charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reuben Moorhouse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carterton AFC's Reuben Moorhouse got a free kick in the 58th minute. Brandon Hudson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Connell. Roy Connell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Owen Hallam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Wagstaff charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Les Gerrard fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carterton AFC's protests and gave Les Gerrard a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Northallerton booed when Carterton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Les Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Northallerton getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Will Wagstaff hit a great ball. Carterton AFC's Jamal Grantham couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Northallerton. In the 86th minute, Brandon Hudson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carterton AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to Carterton AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play.
