When Jonny Sheehan came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the shirebrook united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonny Sheehan couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind French Toast Mafia's goalkeeper Andre Berry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Jonny Sheehan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. shirebrook united's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave French Toast Mafia the free kick. In the 17th match minute, shirebrook united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Sheehan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerome Afful in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andre Berry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andre Berry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonny Sheehan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Jerome Afful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, shirebrook united's Jerome Afful sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andre Berry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andre Berry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerome Afful, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Bowler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Dowrick having to interfere. Jonny Sheehan took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andre Berry. Andre Berry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When shirebrook united's Jerome Afful in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye French Toast Mafia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th match minute, French Toast Mafia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Collier to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cliff Perryman was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, French Toast Mafia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benji Kay to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Afful in the 55th minute of play forced French Toast Mafia's goalkeeper Andre Berry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonny Sheehan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerome Afful fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Berry having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Adam Bowler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andre Berry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerome Afful, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerome Afful struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Andre Berry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for shirebrook united. French Toast Mafia's Andre Berry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Afful in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as shirebrook united's Jonny Sheehan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andre Berry. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. Jonny Sheehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonny Sheehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Berry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Afful in the 82nd minute of play. Jonny Sheehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonny Sheehan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. shirebrook united played a much better game than French Toast Mafia and deserved their victory. The French Toast Mafia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
