Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Russell Haxby took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Karpaty Krosno booed when Haslingfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Benbow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Waple recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Karpaty Krosno's Charlie Picker got a free kick in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Junior Worrall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chaz Fitzgerald. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Martyn Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale York, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ian Benbow's late challenge caught a Karpaty Krosno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Benbow helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Karpaty Krosno booed when Haslingfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Benbow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chaz Fitzgerald was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Tod Harban capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tod Harban really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Martyn Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale York, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Oscar Waple struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Martyn Duggan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karpaty Krosno. After 37 played minutes Haslingfield got a freekick which was hit by Sid Bodsworth. In the 42nd minute, Oscar Waple ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martyn Duggan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Oscar Waple had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Junior Worrall made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dale York reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martyn Duggan. The goal made the score 2-3. Danny Theakston scored 3-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chaz Fitzgerald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russell Haxby in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martyn Duggan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 64 played minutes Haslingfield got a freekick which was hit by Junior Worrall. Dale York sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Waple received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Martyn Duggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haslingfield's Martyn Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russell Haxby in the 70th minute of play. Chaz Fitzgerald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Worrall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Waple scored 3-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martyn Duggan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Haslingfield's Junior Worrall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chaz Fitzgerald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. Martyn Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russell Haxby in the 84th minute of the match. Des Beadel kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Junior Worrall kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Junior Worrall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haslingfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Junior Worrall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chaz Fitzgerald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Karpaty Krosno's John-Paul Fieldwick seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed John-Paul Fieldwick the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karpaty Krosno protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and John-Paul Fieldwick had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karpaty Krosno! Des Beadel shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Junior Worrall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chaz Fitzgerald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Karpaty Krosno failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
