In the 19th minute of the match Chris Robertson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theo Beadle skillfully saved the ball. Ephemeral Ghosts's Theo Beadle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Robertson in the 25th minute of play. Laurence Leather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Beadle having to interfere. Chris Robertson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Beadle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Robertson went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Laurence Leather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Laurence Leather managed to get in a good position for a shot. hull afc's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Leather was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Beadle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Santos made a kick off. Laurence Leather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Theo Beadle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Crossley came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Ephemeral Ghosts's Reuben Chapman. But to his dismay, Reuben Chapman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Simon Crossley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Santos in the 61st minute of the match. When Beinn Lobb came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the hull afc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beinn Lobb couldn't finish the play. Alistair Eslworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Crossley having to interfere. Beinn Lobb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Matthews kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to hull afc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Beinn Lobb hit a great ball. Chris Robertson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Richie Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Crossley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
