Karpaty Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale York was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dale York came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Karpaty Krosno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dale York couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Russell Haxby in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theo Beadle saved Ephemeral Ghosts from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Russell Haxby put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Theo Beadle. Karpaty Krosno's Oscar Waple got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Dale York kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Theo Beadle. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Alistair Eslworth kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Ephemeral Ghosts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kieran Eubank to maneuver through the defense. Russell Haxbys short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Theo Beadle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Oscar Waple came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Karpaty Krosno fans jumped to their feet. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Theo Beadle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Waple went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Dale York had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale York sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
