The audience was convinced that Ed Osborn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Dickens was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Benjamin Dickens came out of the goal and Byron Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christie Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Jump was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Sidney Timmins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leon Brook was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Christie Fc! In the 79th minute Ted Jump shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Brook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byron Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kristopher Fieldwick charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristopher Fieldwick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Brook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Timmins in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Christie Fc's zone, Loyd Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Dickens came out of the goal and Loyd Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ted Jump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Timmins scored 7-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Brook, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
