Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nath Summers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ted Jump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Jump in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Gibbs saved Sudbury from getting behind. Sidney Timmins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Sudbury getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. John Sawyer hit a great ball. Oliver Gibbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Timmins, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The Christie Fc fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Christie Fc's Sidney Timmins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oliver Gibbs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Jump in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Jump in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Gibbs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sidney Timmins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Gibbs having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Sudbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Slade to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Timmins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scott Slade's late challenge caught a Christie Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scott Slade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Nath Summers sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sudbury's Oliver Gibbs didn't even have to move. Ted Jump struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Oliver Gibbs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Christie Fc. After the first half Christie Fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Sawyer to make the kick off. Oliver Gibbs was a little too slow when Ted Jump got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. Sidney Timmins came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oliver Gibbs could save by the left post. Oliver Gibbs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ted Jump showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. Christie Fc's Sidney Timmins got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sidney Timmins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Gibbs having to interfere. Oliver Gibbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Jump, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sudbury getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nat Edison hit a great ball. Ted Jump received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Oliver Gibbs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sudbury's Oliver Gibbs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Sudbury from getting a goal against them.
