Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Woodley United's Liam Wright started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Liam Wright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Daryl Branch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Woodley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Downton to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, -GMT-Explozibil De Alba's Gregory Goodwin tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Bennett in the 10th minute of play forced Woodley United's goalkeeper Marcus Sheene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austin Dolby hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Eddie Fisher took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daryl Branch. Daryl Branch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Wes Ainsworth came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Woodley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wes Ainsworth couldn't finish the play. Woodley United's Marcus Sheene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Potts in the 27th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Woodley United got a freekick which was hit by Wes Ainsworth. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anthony Bennett managed to get in a good position for a shot. -GMT-Explozibil De Alba's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Bennett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Sheene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Sheene came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by -GMT-Explozibil De Alba's Lewis Potts. But to his dismay, Lewis Potts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kirk Nicoll might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Sheene. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kirk Nicoll ran back to his position shaking his head. Anthony Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sheene having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony Bennett to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Eddie Fisher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Branch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Liam Wright ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daryl Branch was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kirk Nicoll's late challenge caught a Woodley United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kirk Nicoll helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Kirk Nicoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liam Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Woodley United's Marcus Sheene got control of the ball when Lewis Potts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kirk Nicoll got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, -GMT-Explozibil De Alba's Kirk Nicoll got a free kick in the 66th minute. Daryl Branch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lewis Potts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lewis Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcus Sheene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddie Fisher struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Daryl Branch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodley United. In the 79th minute, Lewis Potts made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Sheene. Woodley United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loyd Strong during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Loyd Strong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loyd Strong got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anthony Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sheene having to interfere.
