Leo Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tim Dryden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, SMB CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Riad came free, but Tim Dryden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Stuart Kerridge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The London FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SMB CITY! 29 minutes into the match, SMB CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Kerridge came free, but Tim Dryden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SMB CITY getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rick Lundy hit a great ball. If Leo Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Bourton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Martyn Scargill when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Riad in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Dryden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Riad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Dryden having to interfere. Stuart Kerridge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Dryden having to make a save. The SMB CITY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. London FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Leo Riad made the kick off in the second half. SMB CITY's Tim Dryden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save SMB CITY from getting a goal against them. If Leo Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Benjamin Bourton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SMB CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Bourton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Tony Woodward shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martyn Scargill showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of London FC booed when SMB CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crispin Rotherfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Bourton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, SMB CITY's Tony Woodward seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tony Woodward the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SMB CITY protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tony Woodward had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of SMB CITY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of London FC:s goal. 78 minutes into the match, SMB CITY's Benjamin Bourton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martyn Scargill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stuart Kerridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind SMB CITY's goalkeeper Tim Dryden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leo Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tim Dryden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Dryden made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Stuart Kerridge sent off a good shot on target. Tim Dryden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Riad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rick Lundy fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SMB CITY's protests and gave Rick Lundy a yellow card for diving instead. Rick Lundy kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded London FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SMB CITY.
