Owlham Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doug Beale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Graeme Ploughman made a kick off. When the final whistle sounded Beckton United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Owlham Athletic.
