Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sean Corrigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Wooding in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Partridge in the 8th minute of play forced Salford City's goalkeeper Sean Corrigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Calder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Gildea having to interfere. Brendon Atherton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sean Corrigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Weedon in the 20th minute of the match. Brendon Atherton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jamie Gildea made a huge save. A collision led to Storm FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Martyn Westwood hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Rowling in the 28th minute of play forced Storm FC's goalkeeper Jamie Gildea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Calder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamie Gildea was a little too slow when Brendon Atherton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. When Ashley Partridge came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Storm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Partridge couldn't finish the play. Junior Bancroft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Calder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Gildea having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Glenn Turk notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Salford City's Sean Corrigan. Sean Corrigan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Calder to strike the kick off in the second half. Jamie Gildea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Calder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Tommy Wooding notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Salford City's Sean Corrigan. Sean Corrigan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Storm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Weedon to maneuver through the defense. Brendon Atherton struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jamie Gildea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salford City. In the 72nd minute Brendon Atherton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Gildea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Storm FC booed when Salford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Rowling didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Wooding got free with Sean Corrigan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sean Corrigan came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Storm FC's Glenn Turk. But to his dismay, Glenn Turk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 80 played minutes Storm FC got a freekick which was hit by Rob Tisdale. A collision led to Storm FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tommy Wooding hit a great ball. Adam Calder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jamie Gildea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Bancroft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salford City's Brendon Atherton got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
