Garth Duxbury hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Hunstanton's Rory Hargreaves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brandon Clifford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piers Penn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. King Lion UXX F.C.'s Piers Penn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastien Rigg in the 57th minute of play. When King Lion UXX F.C.'s Benjamin Sills in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Felix Tonkin guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Hunstanton booed when King Lion UXX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garth Duxbury didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Sebastien Rigg put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Piers Penn. The audience was convinced that Brandon Clifford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piers Penn was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Norman Nicholls came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the King Lion UXX F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Nicholls couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Brandon Clifford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hunstanton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
