Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sebastien Rigg made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Storm FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rick Featherson hit a great ball. Hunstanton's Sebastien Rigg got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kirk Weedon came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Storm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kirk Weedon couldn't finish the play. Glenn Turk kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Hunstanton's Rory Hargreaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jamie Gildea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hunstanton reached it. Jamie Gildea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Clifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Weedon in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Tonkin saved Hunstanton from getting behind. In the 27th minute Sebastien Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Gildea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Tommy Wooding got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jamie Gildea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Clifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Storm FC's Glenn Turk got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Glenn Turk off the ground. Glenn Turk kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Hunstanton's goalkeeper Felix Tonkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Wooding. After some careless play in the Storm FC defense, Sebastien Rigg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jamie Gildea. The Storm FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jamie Gildea should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Hunstanton booed when Storm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Weedon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rory Hargreaves, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Brandon Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Wooding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Tonkin having to interfere. Sebastien Rigg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Gildea having to interfere. Tommy Wooding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hunstanton's zone, Tommy Wooding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Tonkin came out of the goal and Tommy Wooding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Sebastien Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hunstanton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Rigg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Grant Carr suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 72 minutes into the game, Sebastien Rigg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunstanton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storm FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Sebastien Rigg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennie Wittingham kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Storm FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ashley Partridge hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sebastien Rigg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jamie Gildea, 0-2. Sebastien Rigg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jamie Gildea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Storm FC booed when Hunstanton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Sills didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Storm FC's Rick Featherson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Darren Sills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Storm FC's Ashley Partridge got a free kick in the 89th minute. Brandon Clifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jamie Gildea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hunstanton's Sebastien Rigg in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storm FC's goalie prevented a goal. Storm FC's Jamie Gildea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Storm FC from getting a goal against them. Brandon Clifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jamie Gildea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hunstanton supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hunstanton would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
