Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kirk Weedon made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Ashley Partridge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Storm FC and the Liverpool players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Ashley Partridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Liverpool's Craig Willetts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jamie Gildea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Craig Willetts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Wooding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Denzil Claydon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Wooding in the 11th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Denzil Claydon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liverpool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kirk Weedon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tommy Wooding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Denzil Claydon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denzil Claydon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Wooding in the 26th minute of the match. Phillip Brownlow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jamie Gildea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Storm FC's Jamie Gildea got control of the ball when Phillip Brownlow tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tommy Wooding came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Storm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Wooding couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Kirk Weedon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denzil Claydon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Craig Willetts made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Storm FC defense, Craig Willetts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jamie Gildea. The Storm FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jamie Gildea should have stopped the shot. Kirk Weedon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denzil Claydon having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Kirk Weedon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denzil Claydon. Kirk Weedon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Tommy Wooding struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Denzil Claydon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storm FC. The audience was convinced that Kirk Weedon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denzil Claydon was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Storm FC's Tommy Wooding sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denzil Claydon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Phillip Brownlow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Gildea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Wooding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denzil Claydon having to interfere. Denzil Claydon was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Kirk Weedon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kirk Weedon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ashley Partridge hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Harry Morgan. A collision led to Liverpool getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Caleb Fordham hit a great ball. Kirk Weedon hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Storm FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
