The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Kirk Weedon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Haseldine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Wooding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mark Haseldine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kirk Weedon took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Haseldine. Mark Haseldine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jamie Gildea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Hislop in the 17th minute of play. When Intersports fc's Jon Hislop in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storm FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Intersports fc's Allan Harris got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jamie Gildea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Harris in the 23rd minute of play. If Kirk Weedon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamie Gildea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Fish in the 30th minute of the match. Allan Harris kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Storm FC's Kirk Weedon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Haseldine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Wooding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kirk Weedon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Hislop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirk Weedon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tommy Wooding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kirk Weedon to strike the kick off in the second half. Mark Haseldine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Weedon, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Martyn Westwood shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Haseldine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Kirk Weedon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Haseldine was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tommy Wooding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Tommy Wooding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Wooding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes Intersports fc got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Forster. Mark Haseldine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Weedon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Storm FC's goalkeeper Jamie Gildea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Kirk Weedon made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Intersports fc's Mark Haseldine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Kirk Weedon notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Intersports fc's Mark Haseldine. Mark Haseldine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, Oscar Fish recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jamie Gildea. Oscar Fish showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Oscar Fish might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jamie Gildea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Fish ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Intersports fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Wooding came free, but Mark Haseldine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Kirk Weedon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Haseldine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Storm FC's Kirk Weedon got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Storm FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
