Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orson Hyde took the kick off in the first half of the match. Don Bennett kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, FreshFord FC's goalkeeper Camron Ainsworth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orson Hyde. Robert Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, carrick red star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Gibson to maneuver through the defense. Harvey Wainwright charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harvey Wainwright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of carrick red star booed when FreshFord FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Wainwright didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Robert Little ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liam Bolton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Charlie Crooks came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the carrick red star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Crooks couldn't finish the play. Charlie Crooks struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Camron Ainsworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for carrick red star. In the 30th minute, Austen Upson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camron Ainsworth made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Orson Hyde sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, carrick red star's Charlie Crooks dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charlie Crooks in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camron Ainsworth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Orson Hyde sped through FreshFord FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camron Ainsworth. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Little made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Martin Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Frank Norton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FreshFord FC's Camron Ainsworth did a great save. Camron Ainsworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Brent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teddy Gibson charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 59th minute, Robert Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, FreshFord FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Crooks came free, but Camron Ainsworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Robert Little recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Liam Bolton. Robert Little showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Robert Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Bolton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Little, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orson Hyde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camron Ainsworth having to interfere. Teddy Gibson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 95th play minutes Robert Little shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Liam Bolton and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FreshFord FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
