Philip Ruddock was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ash Housham kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ronny Myers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. FreshFord Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to FreshFord Fc getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ash Bullard hit a great ball. Huey Winter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Philip Ruddock made a huge save. FreshFord Fc's Huey Winter got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joe Camfield didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Atherton went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bulphan City's Philip Ruddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huey Winter in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Bell in the 93rd minute of play forced FreshFord Fc's goalkeeper Joe Camfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denzil Horner was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FreshFord Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Conal Griggs shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bulphan City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
